Sealogical is a vessel management platform built for commercial yacht operations. Everything is organised around your vessel — crew, safety, certificates, maintenance, charters, and finance.
The Dashboard
When you log in, you'll see your vessel dashboard with module cards:
- •Crew — manage crew profiles, documents, employment, and leave
- •Safety — Safety Management System (SMS), drills, forms, and checklists
- •Certificates — track all vessel certificates and their expiry dates
- •Technical — equipment register, planned maintenance, inventory, surveys
- •Charter — charter bookings, guests, and APA management
- •Finance — invoices, expenses, payroll, and financial tracking
- •Vessel — vessel details, movements, and registration
- •Calendar — upcoming events, certificate expiries, and tasks
You can also reach Reports from the module bar — vessel-wide reports including hours of rest, drill compliance, leave balance, crew documents, vaccinations, risk assessments, and more.
Navigation
- •Module bar at the top takes you directly to any module
- •Sealogical Intel opens search and the AI assistant — press Cmd+K (or Ctrl+K on Windows) from anywhere
- •Vessel selector (in the header) switches between vessels if you have access to multiple
- •Bed icon (🛏️) in the header opens your personal Hours of Rest page (visible if you have a crew profile)
- •On a phone, crew get a dedicated Home screen and a bottom tab bar instead of the dashboard — and you can save Sealogical to your home screen like an app. See Sealogical on Your Phone
Your Permissions
What you can see and do depends on the permissions set on your crew profile. Sealogical uses three preset tiers — View Only, Head of Department, and Full Access — plus a Custom option for fine-grained control over individual modules and actions. Your permissions are set by the captain or an account administrator. See the Crew Permissions guide for details.
Need Help?
Use Sealogical Intel to search for anything — crew names, certificate types, regulations, or ask the AI assistant questions about maritime regulations and best practice.
